ANGEL Training Enrollment for Faculty*

LCTTP offers numerous ANGEL training sessions. These sessions are held in a computer lab to provide hands-on experience working with the ANGEL features. Topics covered in the ANGEL sessions are listed below.

ANGEL Introduction (3 hours)
The ANGEL Introduction module covers the basic ANGEL features that most people will use, including navigation, preferences, the toolbox, and calendar entries. An overview of courses is included, covering activity graphs, settings, resources, instructor tools, and reports. This is designed for new or prospective users.
ANGEL Content & Communication (3 hours)
This class covers ANGEL Lessons content including pages, links, assessments, surveys, discussion forums and drop boxes. It also covers communication features including ANGEL mail messages, announcements, and chat rooms.
ANGEL Advanced Features (2 hours)
This class will explore ways to customize your ANGEL course with the use of environmental variables and tokens. You will learn how to personalize the student experience and indicate progression through course material.  Use of agents and actions to automate tasks and perform functions will also be covered.
ANGEL Gradebook (2 hours)
The ANGEL Gradebook allows instructors to calculate grades using either points or percentage methods.  This module covers setting up a gradebook, adding categories and assignments, adding grades via on-line graded assignments, manually entering grades, uploading grades, exporting grades, and new topics such as rubrics.
ANGEL Groups (2 hours)
This class will cover why groups are useful, how to create groups, adding members, and member settings. Group communication tools and sharing of files will also be detailed.
ANGEL Assessments (3 hours)
The ANGEL assessment component offers a variety of question types and settings. Building on the overview of assessment options provided in the ANGEL Introduction, the Assessment module will focus on enhanced assessment features and customization. In-class activities include assessment construction, manually grading assessment items, and reviewing assessment reports and statistics. Advanced options, such as the use of actions to control the release of lesson content and the use of custom team settings, will also be discussed.
ANGEL What's New in 7.4? (3 hours)
The What’s New module will provide an overview of changes in the new version of ANGEL from the previous version.  This module will include changes to discussion forums, assessments, gradebook (including the addition of rubrics), surveys, and other ANGEL features.

Please check the session(s) you prefer. Completion of this form does not guarantee you a seat in a selected class. You will receive registration confirmation via email when you have been enrolled in the classes you indicate.
