LCTTP is beginning to make a few changes...
- We are phasing out our certificate tracks. This program began in 2004 to assist participants progress through a series of courses in a particular focus area. As class offerings diversified and changed, so did the need to follow a prescribed course sequence in acquiring new skills. For those currently pursuing a certificate, please be sure to complete the required courses between now and June 1, 2010.
- We are beginning to utilize different methods of educating our customers. These methods, including online instruction, self-paced DVD training, and on-request courses, will offer both flexibility and increased efficiency in obtaining the education you need.
- We have partnered with New Horizons of East Lansing to offer our customers a wide range of application classes. These classes appear alongside LCTTP classes in our catalog. Enrollment is the same as other LCTTP courses, online at train.msu.edu or by phone with the AIS Service Desk at (517) 353-4420 ext. 320 or the MSU Computer Store at (517) 432-0700.
Please stay tuned as LCTTP continues to change to meet the evolving needs of the MSU community. We look forward to introducing additional training opportunities in the future. If you have questions, please contact either Kelli Hart at (517)353-4420 ext. 320 or Michelle Carlson at (517)432-5936.
